The Tour of the Mournes didn’t disappoint today with fierce racing, hard climbs and plenty of breaks in the mix. A very worthy winner in Adam Ward from the formidable Powerhouse Sport Team, managed to get away in the last few miles from the deciding break, a gap appeared and he motored home to his second win in the A2 class, beating established senior riders as a second year Junior !! Here the results and some photos I took, and the action photos provided on our usual link by David Mc Veigh heading the media team. Great work of the organizers of the tour Newry Wheelers who have this sort of classic to a fine point..great feed after the race at the Newry Leisure Centre and fine spring weather in the bargain to..well done to all

PS. Sorry for the lateness of the report..had it all ready, and forgat to safe the draft..and had to do it all again, just not my day as I snapped my denture plate in the morning eating a cold pizza..serves me
