Talking about hunger for racing…Conor Mc Cann left his home in Bellaghy (South Derry) in the middle of the night for an early flight to Belgium and arrived around midday in Moorslede Belgium to rejoin his guest parents Sabien Himpe and Rik Masil. Many riders would just take a breeder or relax for a bit…not his young man..straight in to racing with the ” St Godelieve Prijs” (1.12B UCI) in Beitem (Roeselare) This in his hometown for the summer. Already kitted out by his team for the summer “http://www.wielerploeg-molenspurters.be/” Conor made sure the kit was seen yesterday afternoon. He kept himself comfortable in the chasing bunch ( 2 riders up front) and finished safely in 18th place in the same time as the 3th, 1m 05sec down the winning time..I bet we hear more of him as we pass the summer. Well done Conor , enjoy your racing .
