Very noticable results from the Irish Junior Legion in Belgium last week..in the junior section (UCI 1.14.3) we had wins from Conor Gallagher (Nico Roche Junior Team) and Leo Doyle (DB cycling team-Cavan) with Belgian Project bursary holders Michael Mc Glynn (Omagh Wheelers) on a 2 week visit already a 9th (Helkijn 1.14.3 UCI) and Declan Maloney (The Sports Room) competing in his first of 3 races a nice 6th place (Tielt 1.14.3 UCI) and all day in the thick of things. From the Powerhouse Sport juniors there is only Breandan Flannagan left and he got himself a 14th place in Balegem won by Leo who also won the 6 legs stage GC, Sundrive’s Track Team Kiely Robert also in Belgium and a 15th. as best result achieved so far. Very promising results in such short time in Belgium for all.
