This Sunday the unique Tour of Strangford Charity sportive is on the menu..it has 2 distances on offer and a ferry crossing for the longer distance of 80 miles at Strangford crossing to Portaferry..lunch included in the price of £15 on line..on the day you can sign on at the £20 price..all for two causes very much in need of funding to keep their fantastic work going. Sign on:   Ards Bowling Club – 70 South St, Newtownards BT23 4JU – Parking is available.  Visit www.ardscc.co.uk for details.

Time:  Sign on from 8am.  Riders on the 80 mile route depart from 9am. Riders on the 50 mile route depart from 9:30am.

Cost:  The pre-entry fee for the event is £15 for those who hold a current Cycling Ireland licence.  Anyone without a Cycling Ireland licence must pay an extra £5 at sign on for a compulsory event licence, which provides third party and personal accident insurance cover for the day.

Pre-entry for the event will close on Friday 14th September at 5pm.   On the day the entry fee will be £20.

** LICENCE HOLDERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW THEIR LICENCE AT THE SIGN ON! **

Proceeds go to our two nominated charities. This year we are raising money for Cruse Bereavement NI and Action Mental Health. 

Choice of 2 routes. 

The 50 mile route stays on the Ards Peninsula before returning to Newtownards after lunch in Portaferry.
