The full team is now preparing to travel to Tirol  in Austria as we speak. We wish the Irish national cycling team a safe and hopefully successful campaign in Innsbruck..Here some info and schedule of next weeks champs in the land of the waltz. Monday 24th September with the Women’s Junior Individual Time Trial in the morning. Wednesday 26th September sees the men elite doing their thing and we have our UCI pro’s in action with Ryan Mullen and Nicolas RocheThursday 27th September the Road races start with in the morning the Ladies Juniors, again Lara and Maeve will be competing and could well be in the front of the actions knowing this two girls. The afternoon has the Junior Men on the menu and this world championship race have 4 Irish lads involved with Aaron Doherty & Breandan Flannagan & Ben Healey & Archie Ryan. Friday 28th September the U/23 squad is in action with new UCI pro rider Eddie Dunbar (SKY) & Michael O’Loughlin & Daire Feeley & Matthew Teggart and Darragh O’Mahony. on Saturday 29th September only one girl has been entered  with Alice Sharp who will have her work cut out as no team mates in the bunch, but knowing Alice this will be a challenge the ex winner of the Spar 3 day of Omagh could master. And finally we have the main race on Sunday the 30thFinally on Sunday the 30th of September we have the Men’s Elite race included the Irish Champion Conor Dunne whom is looking for another team and certainly will put himself in the shop window and renowned for his “up the road” efforts at big races, and the UCI pro’s Nicolas Roche & Ryan Mullen and Dan Martin who just became father of twins and probably needs a break of nappies !  A grueling race expected and a finale that will bring the climbers out for sure. The cowbells will be heard in Tirol and the banging on the leather hoses probably to..Good luck  Feature photo and end photo courtesy of https://www.innsbruck-tirol2018.com
