With just one more week to get your entries in for the event of the year things begin to fall in to his places, more sponsors attracted, a big marquee expected which the riders will go trough at each lap (this is a feature you see in the continental UCI crosses and very popular with the crowds) Race organiser and promoter Glenn Kinning has urged junior riders to enter as only 2 done so ..Glenn reminds our juniors with this message on social media   ***Where are you’s??***

“As of today we only have two junior men entered. This isn’t enough to justify running a race of this standard, with the prize fund on offer. I have spoke to a few who said they will enter closer to the time. Entry closes Next Wednesday. Support race is half filled and a good nr in the A race”

So please get entered a.s.a.p. especially the Juniors as such race don’t come very often in our parts of the world ! In fact it is the first ever UCI cross in Ireland and this we have to cherish and support as much possible to justify such high class races in the future. The prize money is regulated in this UCI class 2 event and the biggest pay out ever for a CX race in Ireland !! not forgetting the UCI points on offer to, this will benefit our international riders to get better gridding at the Continental UCI CX races and results should improve due to that. Cycling Ireland riders must hold a 2018 licence either a Limited Competition (LC) or Full Competition (JR, A4, A3, A2, A1, A+). Youth riders must have a current 2018 licence. Licences must be presented at sign on. For non-Cycling Ireland licence holders, please ensure you have a 2018 licence from your federation then email a copy of your licence to the race director before pre-entry closes.  https://cyclingireland.azolve.com/workbench/public/events?ref=9617062912FAD457307E500C248EE2D6D35B821F
