Xeno Young (Ireland & Powerhouse Sport Team) and Nicolas Wernimont (Belgium & Davo Tongeren) making headlines in the Madigan at the Phynova 6 day of London held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. A short report for now. Feature picture David Mc Veigh (BP Media Team) Picture Nicolas from his fan page edited.

It was a long hard road for Xeno till this week as an accident earlier this year set the Silver medalist of last years Junior European Champs months back in his first season as an espoir (U/23) but now back to full health it seems. When Xeno is in form he can deliver big results and this week again proves he find his niche at the boards. Partnered with the up coming talent of Nicolas Wernimont, the current European Junior Champ and Belgian Champ on the track they are making “furore” in the Under 21 event of the London six day. The event has 3 nights of the Madigan (40km) to be concurred and after 2 days the pair is leading the race, with today the finale and hopefully this two stars can tonight keep the opposition at bay and win overall ! Xeno was a bursary holder of the project in the past and very pleased for his mum Ali and dad Garth of the Powerhouse Sport company in Lisburn, they have supported the project (2015-16-17) as clothing provider and sponsor and I always will be grateful for that.
