A mix of decision making and off road racing this November weekend. Due to the AGM and a wee break after not be able to support the CX events this week, but results and some photos will be on line to keep you in the loop. Also a report of the AGM in Ballinasloe which could be an interesting one ! May common sense prevail and make your “right to vote” count as this is the only time in the year you can make a difference.   Saturday 10th November 2018 : The Cycling Ireland Annual General Meeting will take place on 10th November, at 11am, at the Shearwater Hotel, Ballinasloe, Co Galway. Delegates are requested to arrive prior to 10:45 in order to facilitate a timely start to the AGM. The 2018 Annual Report can be found in this link Standing orders and the Final Notice for the AGM can be found here                                                                                                                                             Sunday 11th November 2018  Course Description: The course will be based on the one ran last year which was another great success for the club, however with a slight twist with the races running in the opposite direction to previous years.  The organisers will again utilize the open grass sections at the Ormeau Road end of the park. Featuring an interesting combination of wide fast corners, a long off camber section, steep descent and a tough uphill running section with most of the course visible from the event village. Under 6 and under 8 riders will share their own mini course with Under 10 and under 12 using a shorter section of the main course. Please follow the direction arrows from the car park to the race circuit. (approx 5 min walk on flat tarmac path) Please note that whilst there is pedestrian/cycling access from the Ormeau Road entrances, vehicles will NOT be permitted to access the Park from the Ormeau Road. This is an order from the City Council not the host club. NO exceptions. XMTB would like to thank Belfast city council for their continued support in running races in their parks. NOTE: Clubs wishing to put up gazebos are welcome at the start/finish they must be in place before practice opens at 9:15.  Entries >> https://fs27.formsite.com/CUORC/form23/index.html<< till Friday 8pm       Scott Orwell Wheelers are delighted to run our inaugural CycloCross Race in GAP Glencullen on Sunday November 11th 2018.
