I have never been to Cork and in less then 4 weeks time this one can be crossed of my bucket list..the CX Champs are on and it will be worth the drive ! On the Saturday the 12th the youth has his showpiece followed on the Sunday by the Elite and Juniors..Have saved up my euro coins for the tolls, B&B booked and can not wait. It is for us up north a great opportunity to meet old and new friends and find out who will be victorious as an all Ireland entry brings the best out of the competitors and a feast for us photographers and would be journalists. If to go with last years battle of the giants in that discipline of the sport we in for a threat. Organised by the Ronde Van Cork CC who has a very Flemish sound in their club’s name. Promoted by CI and his off road commission at a magic looking venue in the grounds of the “Fota House Arboretum& Gardens near Cork.
