Such smiles makes your day

Lady Dixon Park in Belfast was the meeting place for about 30 MTB’ers and Cyclo Crossers this morning to shake of the X-Mas excesses and preparing for the New Year’s events. As far travelling as Mullingar (West of Dublin) they came in Asia Bula’s case and organised by Mark Harvey who just joined VC Glendale ( West Belfast) with his 2 sons Lee and Dean a few weeks ago, and both lads contenders for the nationals in 2 weeks time. A genius route was created and Mark explains >> Good day out! We went from Lady Dixon through Mary Peters, Belvior Forest, into Belfast past the blue fish and titanic quarter and from there down the coastal path to Bangor for drinks and snacks in The Bikehouse before heading through Helens Tower and the Ulster way back towards Belfast with a loop through orangefield and Ormeau parks before heading back to Lady Dixon. 45 miles all in and most of it off the road.<<  I just took some photos at the start only, as I had other commitments this morning..This was not an official event but never less a great initiative to keep fit. I will take the opportunity here to wish you all a “Healthy and prosperous 2019”
