Newry Wheelers announced last night the entry online opening of their first open race of the season ” The John Haldane Memorial RR” and going by last year event it should be filled with entries of quality. The organisers Newry Wheelers released this statement at the opening of the online entry
Entry’s flowing in with a particular interest in the A3 and A4 race. Don’t miss out. A perfect race to get the season going.
It’s the only race in Ulster that weekend and it’s a nice early start so home early 👍
Online entry will close on Thursday 7th March.
Ladies only race as part of the WCU league.
Entry’s for races range from £12.50 to £15.50. 
On the day entry will be £20.

The race will start and finish on the dual carriageway. Flat finish.

A1/A2 Start 10 am = 57 mile
A3 race 10.05 = 47 mile 
A4 race 9.45 am = 38 mile
Ladies Race 9.45 am = 29 mile
Last years Junior & A3 finish …domination by the Powerhouse Juniors Cahir Doyle and Brendan Flannigan (both ex graduates of the Belgian Project)
Separate Women’s Race as part of the Ulster Women’s League will start off proceedings.
The Belgian Project wishes Drew Mc Kinley and his team of volunteers a successful event…We will be there to capture the race in full.
