The 2024 “Lucan GP” was held in Dunsaney Co-Meath last Saturday (16th March) The results with action photos courtesy of Feargal Murray, and podium shots from John Hammer, the results courtesy of host Lucan CRC, with thanks to you all!!

Another win for Daire Feeley (All Human-VeloRevolution), an 1-2 in the A2 race for the host club Lucan with Josh Callaly, and Mark Donnelly runner-up, Junior Conor Murphy (Caldwell Cycles) wins the A3 race, Michael Collins (Newcastle West CC) first unplaced Junior. Annalise Murphy ( Longcourt/Newcastle West) wins the women’s race, Aine Doherty (VC Glendale) first unplaced junior. Davi Silva (Clondalkin CC) wins the supporting A4 race, with Alan Hunt (Bray Wheelers) unplaced Junior. Adam Ward (VC Glendale) wins the U16 boys race, and Emer Heverin (All Human-VeloRevolution) the U16 girls race

“The 2024 John Haldane Memorial Races” of Sunday 10th March promoted and hosted by Newry Wheelers of Co-Down! Popular wins from Lindsay Watson (Powerhouse Sport) in the A1-A2, Harvey Barnes (East Tyrone) in the A3-A4, Curtis McKee (Spellman-Dublin Port) U16 boys, and Aisha Gannon (Breffni Wheelers) U16 girls.

The Irish Para Cycling stars done it again!! This time in the Women’s tandem RR, at the “UCI C1 Para-cycling Classics Tour in Flanders” (Brugge-Ronse) last Sun 30th April!! Josephine Healion & Eve Mc Crystal took gold with Katie-George Dunlevy & Linda Kelly taking silver!! From today 4th May till Sun 7th May, the Irish Para-Cycling team will be present at round 2 of the UCI World Cup in Oostende (North Sea Coast Harbour town in Belgium) Will they add to the 2 golds and 1 bronze of round 1 in Italy?? They certainly could!!!
