Changing a busy Urban city (Kortrijk) to a CX course! Only in Belgium
Bad luck for Richard Maes…chain snapped at the start and that was it for him! Note: Richard grandfather originates from the West Flanders…Well, at least he was seen on TV (GNC)
David Conroy had his last race in Belgium before a training camp in Spain…his next race in the U23 UCI class is the Namur Classic CX in a few weeks time.
Cool as cucumbers …more photo’s of Martine

Seems like the Red Cross was too late for this lady..lol
Darnell Moore got the 28th place in the Elite men race in Kortrijk, very respectable place coming from last on the grid with such opposition surrounding him!
Today in Mol he was 34th and best of the Irish with Sean Nolan (Navan RC) 37th, Tim O’Regan 41st (yesterday he got a 32nd in Kortrijk) Richard Maes DNF (talking about bad luck for Richard again)
Amazing course on the bank of the “Leie” a river who starts in France and ends in Gent
The river’s banks have a cycling pad that is more than 40 km long and a popular training ground for local cyclists
Tim O’Regan soaking up the experience..for a man of the ras no problem
