What’s on this St-Patrick weekend? The Classic “B9 Energy Storage Tour of Ards” in Portaferry Co-Down (Sat 16 March), The Lucan GP in Dunsany Co-Meath (Sat 16 March), and the “Bobby Power Memorial Races” in Clonea Power Waterford (Sun 17 March) + some dates in the coming weeks!!

The Ras Mumhan 24 becomes a 5 stage race with a Team Time Trial as first stage!! All info will appear or already is on https://www.facebook.com/rasmumhan Very proud to be re-invited to do the MC and announcer job at Easter, in the Kingdom of Ireland (and Cork for a stage)

The annual Carn Classic road race will take place on Saturday the 6th April 2024. The race will follow the usual route with the same finish. Popular wins from Lindsay Watson (Powerhouse Sport) in the A1-A2, Harvey Barnes (East Tyrone) in the A3-A4, Curtis McKee (Spellman-Dublin Port) U16 boys, and Aisha Gannon (Breffni Wheelers) U16 girls.  
NextDaire Feeley (All Human-Velorevolution) wins the “2024 Ras Mhaigh Eo” and stage 2, after a fantastic 2 days of racing on the roads of Mayo (Sat 9th-Sun 10th March) Aoife O’Brien (Belco-Van Eyck BEL) takes the women’s Red Jersey, Belgian Joe-Nathan Matar (Orwell Wheelers) takes the White, Odhran Doogan (Caldwell Cycles) claims the Polka Dot, not forgetting to mention Sam Coleman (AS Villemur Jnr) winning stage 1, Luke Smith (Moynalty CC) winning stage 3, and Flaherty Zak Challenge CC wins the A4 race!!

“The 2025 Emyvale GP” promoted by Emyvale CC, and sponsored by The Spin Doctor & Greenfingers Garden Centre & First Stop Properties LTD. A day of rain, gusty winds, sunshine, and worthy winners, such as Jamie Clark (NDCC) in the C3 race, and Holly Mc Caffrey (Loncourt House Hotel Newcastle West) 1st women. C2 Junior James Armstrong (Molenspurters Meulebeke BEL) winning the handicapped C1-C2 race, Aine Doherty (Dan Morrissey) was 1st women.

Tonight after 6 pm, on this forum, the entries for Round 3 of the National Series at the Sean Nolan Meath GP (Sunday 22nd May) in Dunshaughlin!! (already 150 entered!!!!)

Six Podium finishes for Mia Griffin & Lara Gillespie competing in the “Trois Jours d’Aigle” at their UCI track last weekend (Switzerland 26-27-28 Sept) Also  strong results for Philip O’ Connor & Luca Holmes. Incidentally all 4 have received a Belgian Bursary award over the years, the boys actually this year…Well done is certainly in order!!
