The 2024 “Ulster 10 Mile TT Champs” held yesterday at Frosses (Ballymena-Antrim) hosted by local club Ballymena RC (Wednesday 7th August) Marcus Christie (Cycling Club Isle of Man) wins overall, Aine Doherty (VC Glendale Junior) wins the women’s overall and Junior title!! The Champ of Champions 25 TT in Newtownards is cancelled for this weekend due to very low nrs!!

Today the Irish Cycling Community said goodbye to Jack Watson MBE, UCI International Commissaire, UCI Antidoping Inspector, UCI Gold Merit Award, UEC Merit Award,CI former president, honorary secretary, and co-founder of Cycling Ireland. A big turn out filled the Trinity Presbyterian Church to the rafters, this in his hometown Bangor Co-Down, for a celebration of his life (Mon 5th August)
