Disaster strikes again on Dublin roads last Sunday (18th Feb) The Irish Cycling fraternity has lost another loved one with John Walsh, UCD CC competitive cyclist member, husband, and father of 3 children. John was serious injured after a road collision, and died of his injuries in hospital soon after! Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

(Sun 11th-Sun 25th Feb) The website has a break due to a bushman’s holiday in the Netherlands & Belgium (sorting out summer scheme) this from Thur 8th till Friday 16th Feb. Back for Toby’s Charity Cycle in Belfast on Saturday 17th Feb!! Also news of entry details of the Donegal 222km&333km&555km in August, and stage news of the Dornan Ras Mumhan at Easter!!

The 3 Irish CX warriors with Greta Lawless (Junior Girl), Conor Murphy (Junior Men) and Dean Harvey (Espoir) done their superbest, as they have to climb a hell of a mountain from the back of the grid, not to mention bad luck at the 2024 UCI CX World Champs in Tábor (Czech Republic) It their was medals for the support they received, the traveling support gang would deserve GOLD!!
