(Day 5-Monday 7th Aug) Respectable results for the Irish Para-Cycling at the track in Glasgow again, throw in a SILVER at the Gran Fondo TT for Paul Kennedy (Burren CC) with solid performances of the other Irish testers, a bit of bad luck for Lara Gillespie and Alice Sharpe, but still managed to finish in the Madison, and all results of the day, which incl. the BMX green warriors!! (Medal count 3 Para team & 3 Gran Fondo team)

(Day 4 Sun 6th August ) The Para-Cycling Team Ireland receives a 3rd bronze medal with Ronan Grimes!! The medal count now stands at 5, which includes 2 off the Gran Fondo part of the champs. This on a chaotic, but much enjoyable day at the Elite RR Champs. The Irish supporters just bringing the craic to Glasgow, supporting our lads despite their bad luck!! But well done to Dutch Matthieu VDP “Simply the best, better than all the rest”

Woohoo…My 3 Belgian Project *2023 junior graduates* manage to get in the prizes in their first week racing in the Flanders!! Joseph Mullen-Navan RC 5th, with Daragh Doherty-Flander’s Colors Defever Team 19th, and Josh Callaly-Navan RC 26th in the chasing bunch!! I would say “chapeau” as this is no mean feast doing so!!!
