A brilliant weekend of youth racing, ladies racing, and para-cycling was on show in Tournafulla (West Limerick) The 2025 *JJ Kenneally 2-day* promoted by Newcastle West CC certainly got the “GOOD FEELING FACTOR” with such brilliant mix of road racing, camaraderie, respect to each others abilities, and joy!!! The smile of Ludo Dierckxsen is no more!! Peoples cycling hero Ludo Dierckxsens was best known for winning the 11th stage of the 1999 Tour de France, and was the Belgian Champion of 1999! Ludo collapsed during a 1000 km bike ride in aid of the cancer charity “Kom op tegen Kanker” on 29 May 2025 in Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde. The para medic’s couldn’t revive him, Ludo passed away on the road.
