I have been looking forward to Caroline’s favourites and well…judge for yourself!! Caroline is one of the most genuine girls you can meet, and when you did, you will remember her. Her love for cycling is unlimited, her personality so bubbly and I hope Caroline won’t mind me saying “Mad as a Hatter” Single mother of now grown-up sons and also an Airport worker, but Caroline still finds the time to cover cycling races. Caroline has helped me out several times with photo’s to use for my reports over the years, and act as guest photographer for the media team at times, and very grateful for this. I spent once a weekend with Caroline in Sligo, this at the National Road Champs 2018, it was one of the most enjoyable cycle weekends I had, never laughed so much in my life and I am lucky I can call her a true friend. Her photos have been used as profile by many well known Irish Pro’s as they recognise the passion. But let Caroline introduce herself for the few who don’t know her “ I was always into cycling since I was 16, spent many years going to Palma Nova in Majorca on Stephen Roche cycling camps… My son Dean does Road cycling and downhill mountain biking which took me into doing photography in mountain biking. Was at the world downhill mountain biking in Scotland as a press photographer with the Irish team last year. Also got to Yorkshire last September as a press photographer… it was a dream come through. Cycling is like one big family” Thank you, Caroline, for all the smiles and joy you have given us in the past, and we miss you…hope we see each other again soon xxx (Please credit Caroline if using this photos on social media and feature photo was courtesy of Joe Duffy, when Nico Roche met Caroline, my apologies to Joe for the miscredit and now rectified)
