The Spellman Dublin Port Cycling Team is a small, brave, cycling team. We think big, take chances and are not afraid of failure.
Certainly, a team with ambition and panache, founded in 2020, and now strengthened with international track riders to compete in the WorldCup on the boards, and racing on the road in Ireland. Great to see they have also included some ladies with a winning pedigree! Looking forward to seeing them in action. A full introduction of the riders will be published in the next few weeks on their social media page https://www.facebook.com/spellmandublinport. What impressed me the most is the partnership with a well-known charity in Dublin that helps people with addictions called ” The Spellman Centre” off the Irishtown Road in Ringsend. It gives you an indication that they defiantly have community spirit and guts to take on the best in cycling here and abroad (see below)…chapeau and good luck with the team from us up North
Located in the Spellman Centre on Irishtown Road, RDRD provides a wide range of services with the aim of combatting the effects of addiction and drug use and to support people on their journey toward rehabilitation.
RDRD works closely with the community to create awareness of drug misuse issues and help the community respond to the problem. If you, a friend or a family member have a drug or addiction problem and are looking to access support and services which can help, we welcome you to contact a center that provides positive and nonjudgemental support towards rehabilitation.
Our mission is simple, ‘to support young people and their families in their struggle to become free of drugs’.
We provide information on various drug use and solutions for the service user. Our one-to-one service provides essential attention to individuals’ needs on their journey through recovery. Our team has an extensive knowledge base.
