The Dutch Demi Vollering (SD Worx) has won Liège-Bastogne-Liège 2021. She finished the work of her team superbly in a sprint with 4. She was faster than Van Vleuten and Longo Borghini. Tadej Pogacar (UAE) has kept Julian Alaphilippe of the Ardennes double. The Tour winner remounted the world champion in a sprint with 5 classbacks. Alejandro Valverde had to be satisfied with 4th place on his 41st birthday. Just before the top of the Roche-aux-Faucons, the last climb of the day Woods attacked, only Gaudu, Pogacar, Alaphilippe, and Valverde can follow the Canadian. Behind them, Roglic and the leftover of the chasers couldn’t recall them!! Tadej Pogacar  wins his 1st monument. Due to his victory in Liège, Pogacar is currently the victory king of 2021. The 22-year-old Slovenian has 6 victories, one more than Sam Bennett and Primoz Roglic.
