A message received from Marc Farrelly from St Tiernans “Just to let you know we are running a 4 race pre season CX in Corkagh Park in Dublin. It’s being organised by Lucan CRC and St. Tiernans with main sponsorship from The Bear Group, as well as the mechanics from Specialized in Dublin are popping down the first night to do free pre race bike checks and a few spot prizes. Entry is 20 euro (covers all 4 races) Youth races are free and start at 18:30, with the Senior races off at 19:00. Cross is coming and to start off the season with a bang we are stepping up to host the first round of the National Series. So all roads lead to the excellent venue of Falls Park, Belfast which will transform into west Belgium for the day. Dromara CC will be hosting the 7th annual Slieve Croob Hill Climb Challenge on Saturday 23rd September 2023. This open hill climb competition offers entrants a chance to test themselves against one of the toughest road climbs in Ireland. The road climb follows the public road up Dree Hill then takes the private tarmac path up to the summit of Slieve Croob. The distance is 5 km.
