This young man raised €35,209!!!!! towards his mum cancer charity https://www.facebook.com/cuansupportcavan !! Billy Lord told social media: “My Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in December 2023. Since then, Cuan have been a constant in our lives and they have been an amazing support to us all as a family. I want to fundraise for Cuan and give a little back! On August 24th, Billy cycled from The Beacon Hospital in Dublin, to Cuan in Cavan, a distance of 123km accompanied by my Dad, to symbolise the journey my Mum made each week for her treatment”I certainly wanted to meet Billy, and give him my first BP bidon, and the gold BPmedal…what a young fellow indeed!!
