The BIG NEWS today from ourselves here in Ballina Cycling Club is that the CX Champs will be live-streamed from Enniscrone on Sunday 12th. Better still is that Sport TG4 will produce a highlights package of the event to be shown at the end of Jan. This would not be possible without the support of Cycling IrelandConnacht Cycling and Velotec Sportswear. So if you are still on the fence considering whether to register or not, then hopefully this will tip you over the edge and get to you to the start line. DC & BT

Undoubtedly the man to beat … Current 2019 Champ David Conroy has about a dozen UCI cyclocross’s at world level in his legs and will be hard to beat. His Belgian adopted mum is travelling from Belgium to Sligo as a guest of the Conroy Family to capture the event. Martine is a well-known photographer in Belgium and a very well-liked figure in cycling in the Flanders and guest mum of the Belgian Project…we will meet up in the weekend in Enniscrone for sure!!

Martine is seen here with the Irish Cycling paparazzi in Cork last year
