Dear Juniors and Espoirs who have applied to the BP selection pool 2025, here a reminder…I need your results as impossible to have a educated view of your progress without it, some of you did which I am grateful for, but more of half of you didn’t, so please, respond before Sunday 8th of June!! I have already given some bursaries in January to youth development clubs (£ 1050- €1220 approx) and now have gathered another £2880 (€3360 approx) together for the summer bursaries, this with some of the sponsors money, and my work as announcer-MC at events all over the country after expenses. About 20 bursaries (8 Excellence awards of £180 – €210) + (12 Encourage awards of £120 – €140) will be given mid June to the chosen ones. We have 10 women in the selection pool (5 Juniors) and 25 men (16 juniors + 9 U23’s), yours in sport Dany Blondeel, Founder (danyblondeel@yahoo.co.uk or dany@belgianproject.cc)

The 3 Irish CX warriors with Greta Lawless (Junior Girl), Conor Murphy (Junior Men) and Dean Harvey (Espoir) done their superbest, as they have to climb a hell of a mountain from the back of the grid, not to mention bad luck at the 2024 UCI CX World Champs in Tábor (Czech Republic) It their was medals for the support they received, the traveling support gang would deserve GOLD!!
