After a considerable amount of hard work, I am now in a position to announce the CUYA 2021 Youth Race Series. Due to the lack of youth racing at present, the format of the series and the venues have changed for 2021. We have been lucky to secure 3 tracks for the series and we are including the Ards CC Street races as a round as well (subject to a possible change to Kirkistown race track if needed) so in total, we have a series consisting of 8 rounds. All rounds will cater for U6-U16, Male/Female, the overall results will be based on best 6 from 8, with Prizes for the first 3 in each category( Prizes will be presented at the CU Awards dinner, except the U6 Category which will be presented at the last round of the series ) The rounds held at Nutts Corner and Railway Karting will start at 6 pm for U6 with the remaining categories following on from this, see the graphics for all the dates, some are still TBC, If we have to change any dates I will post up in Facebook. Bishopscourt Racing Track, 3 days https://goo.gl/maps/mhCvZDvS8um3vP1r7 For the Bishopscourt circuit we have added an additional event, a Time Trial for riders U8 – U16, the first rider will be off at 09:30. On completion of the TT, there shall be a break of approximately 1 ½ Hour and then we shall begin the Crit Races with the first race U6 and then the other categories following on. Due to Covid Restrictions, we will not be able to accept entries on the day, all events will be pre-entry via Eventmaster, and a separate link/post will be made available in the next 24hrs for the first event on Sunday 9th May at Bishopscourt.
