When I heard the terrible news of the passing of Gabriele, my heart slowed down a bit, a lovely girl I met a few years ago in Newry at the Haldane GP, she was in company with Sean and I was introduced to this beautiful young women from Lithuania, many more meetings followed at the races in Ireland. Gabriele always made time to talk to us, was so full of life and loved her cycling deeply. Another victim of our roads, another life ripped away unnecessary. Our hearts are bleeding for Sean her boyfriend, her family in Lithuania , and all her friends here in Ireland….we will miss your sweetheart, Rest in Peace (Photo Sean Rowe)
