Northern Ireland Commonwealth Cycling team member & Belgian Project graduate 2022 & 2023 bursary holder Oisin Ferrity (Caldwell cycles) wins gold in the road race at the Commonwealth Youth Games, he was already 5th in the TT, with his team mate Curtis Neill 9th.(Curtis Neill’s run of bad luck continues after a 1st lap flat wheel and all his spares in the furthest away set of service pits) As you can see below a very high level international affair…what a prospect Oisin is for the future!! Also well done to their DS Gary Mc Keegan who accompanied the lads, with providing them with advice and knowledge, a man with a vision and underestimated at times!!
Oisin will start racing next week in Belgium, joining the 2 Navan Lads Josh Callaly, and Joseph Mullen in Beitem (BP guest family Rik and Sabien) This will be a strong presentation of Irish Juniors in Belgium, as Darragh Doherty also staying in the same area with our guest mum Martine Verfaillie…what a great 15th anniversary year we had already, and its getting better and better… the way it goes, I gonna have to be online all hours to report on everything what happens lately, but enjoying every minute of it…this lads paying me back big time with their performances…as I mentioned earlier …I am a happy man!!
The Belgian Project bursary holders and graduates a force to reckon with in the Flanders this August…so proud of them all
