Message from the host Island Wheelers: The club were delighted to welcome riders from all over Ireland for 3 cracking races on our famous figure of 8 circuit. Chatting to some of the riders who raced the course for the first time they said they will be back. All 3 races were very aggressive from the off and congratulations to all of the riders for racing and especially to those who collected points and prizes. Thanks again to all the riders for supporting our event and the very best of luck for the rest of the season ahead.
Congratulations to club members Sean McCullagh & John Ferrity who took 1st/2nd in the A4 race. Some result lads!! Also well done to Colin Murtagh who took an impressive 11th in a very strong A3 race.
Thanks to the Logan family who sponsored the PJ Logan Cup. This race was a great tribute to Packie with the cream of A1/A2/Jr riders racing over 9 laps. Thanks as well to Pat for his very kind words at the presentations. There is a lot of people to thank, but firstly massive congratulations must go to our fantastic band of volunteers who when asked never fail to support our events. From the car/moto drivers, marshals, time keepers and catering team we thank you all.
On a separate note it was great to see Darren Rafferty out on the course supporting his sister/brother Aliyah and Adam and the other riders. Darren is no stranger to this course being a previous winner of our PJ Logan. Thanks as well to all of below who with out their valued support and assistance this event wouldn’t be possible.
