Saturday 1st June: Ballymena Antrim 11 am. “The Blair International Red hand Trophy 2019” (Rd 3 of the national road series-men & women)
Ballymena road club is proud to host the 3rd round of the national series in the Blair International Red Hand Trophy. This will take place over the renowned Blair International Red Hand Trophy course that will see competitors compete over 103km leaving Ballymena heading over the glens of Antrim to Ballycastle, then to Cushendall and onto north Antrim coastline and returning Ballymena bound from Carnlough.
Sign on will be from the Ballymena Road Club Rex Bonnar House on Railway Street Ballymena from 9 am on Saturday 1st June. Competitors will roll out from here at 11 am through Ballymena with police bike escort for the races to the start located at the flyover bridge exiting the Cushendall roundabout in Ballymena. Women’s race will roll out behind the Men’s race and start approx 5 minutes behind at flyover
Prizes for 1st-6th in both men and women’s races
The hospitality of tea coffee refreshments and food will be provided in the Rex Bonnar House during the prize giving after the event.

NOTE: Due to some very serious accidents at Cycling Ireland time trial events, Pre-entry, with all warning notes, guides and regulations is the only way riders will be allowed to start this event. We want to have all our riders aware of where they are going, what we require of them, and make them fully aware of any risks involved. Your safety is our number one priority. We will no longer accept riders signing on on the day of the event. Please do not ask as refusal will cause disappointment.
