We just received the sad news of Jack Watson passing away this morning. He was one of the founders of Cycling Ireland, got a MBE for his work in cycling, UCI International Commissaire, ex CI President, CI Honorary Secretary, and UCI Antidoping inspector to mention a few titles Jack owned. In behalf of the Belgian Project, his sponsors and followers, we wish his wife Rea, his children, and grandchildren strength in this very sad times. Rest in Peace Jack…we will miss you!

Worlds UCI Pro-team rider Ryan Mullen’s Irish 10 Mile TT long time standing record (17min42sec) is in danger of been broken in the near future, and it could be the 2024 Irish junior champ Conor Murphy (Caldwell Cycles) to do it!! Already broke 3 times in a row the Junior record, and with a blazing 17min59sec yesterday at Frosses Ballymena (The Ernie Magwood Super 6 Series rd 5) this could be soon reality!! The “Brian Mc Namara Memorial GP” hosted by Tuam CC in Belclare (Co-Galway) had some well known, and prolific winners such as Daire Feeley (All Human-VeloRevolution) in the A1-A2 race, Philip O’Connor (Dungarvan CC) in the A3 race, with Maeve Gallagher (Castlebar CC) as first woman, and Yan Tsymbal (West Clare CC) in the A4 race, with Deirdre Hynes (West Clare CC) as first woman over the line!!
