SPORTIVE with the Cycul’s BOREEN: Benburb, Armagh, Hosted by Cycul and Lap the Lough

Brexit has unearthed the densest, most twisted road network in Europe.
Rough roads, Tough road, more than enough roads.
Roads as twisted as Brexit itself.
HQ for the event is Benburb Castle perched high above the Blackwater River. The 70km route is divided into 2 loops. Each loop starts and finishes in the Castle. Each loop has one manned control point, where the teams must pass through together and an unmanned control point where teams must collect a specific item. All info on http://boreen.cycul.cc/ Pushing & Pedalling CYCUL was established in 2010 to create a better, more vibrant cycle culture by offering more opportunities for people to cycle. Over the past decade, we have organised hundreds of events, involving tens of thousands of people and travelling many millions of miles. We advocate and campaign for better cycle infrastructure and work in partnership to encourage more people to cycle to work and more children to cycle to school.

The cycle then starts at 11 am and all Santa’s and Elves and an odd Moose or Turkey head off via Hazelwood and past the breath-taking scenery at Parkes Castle and then everyone takes a welcome break in the quaint little village of Dromahair.
