A familiar face in Southern Races in Ireland would be our guest photographer of today John Coleman, member since 1979 of Dungarvan CC, the oldest cycling club in Ireland founded in 1869, then called Dungarvan Ramblers CC. Have met John a few times at the major races such as the nationals, and when I got in contact with John, asking him if he would like to participate in my series, I didn’t have to wait long for a positive answer. John told me ” I am from Dungarvan, home of the Greenway and Leisure Cycling capital of Ireland. I am cycling since 1975 and raced without much success at the end of the 70s till the early 80s. My favourite bike is a Raleigh Sbdu 753. I work on all things Electronic, my main Job is Ahs Tuning” My moto is >> Nothing is Impossible, as there is always a way to fix it << John also covers many other sports with his camera, duathlon one of his favourites, running and cycle races off course. Thanks, John for your input…this photos are adding some more quality to the series. Please credit John if you share this photo’s (Feature photo courtesy of John Hackett)
