Fresh from winning multiple stages of Tour de France 2020 and dominating the podium of the Giro d’Italia, one of road cycling’s most exciting young teams – Team Sunweb – will transform in 2021 into… Team DSM.​

Team Sunweb CEO (as from 1st January 2021, Team DSM CEO), Iwan Spekenbrink said: “This is truly a dream. In cooperation with Royal DSM, the goal is to develop purpose-made race apparel that meets the demand of the Team DSM’s pro – riders, to make them even faster and safer on the bike. We will combine our core competencies together with Royal DSM and Team DSM to develop cycling apparel that will lead to a clear competitive advantage for the team by using the best fabrics and latest technologies: among others the newest Dyneema® protection and special purpose-fit Arnitel® materials.
