Once upon a time – history fails to record if it was a sunny or damp day – Deceuninck – Quick-Step sports director Brian Holm, in a moment of inspiration that others are in pursuit of for years or even decades, signed one of his many e-mails to the team with the dictum “The Wolfpack takes no prisoners.”
It may have started out as a joke, but what it actually did was to give a name to something that had been within the team for years: a mentality that took roots inside our squad since 2003 and motivated us even in the toughest times to go beyond our limits, turning the squad into a family, one that lives together, wins together and makes sure nobody is ever left behind
.

At the 2017 Giro d’Italia, this spirit took shape under the form of some trendy caps depicting a wolf that Bob Jungels gifted to the members of the squad. It augured well, as we went on to win a spectacular five stages and a prestigious distinctive jersey. From there, it became only a matter of time until we decided to share TheWolfpack spirit with our large and loyal fan base, with things rolling out at the start of the 2018 season when we invited our supporters to join the Wolfpack community. While it kept growing, we continued to proudly display the unique Wolfpack spirit on the rough cobbles and on the brutal climbs, in the biting cold and scorching heat, be it Classics, Grand Tours, and even smaller races because at the end of the day we know that whatever life throws at you, it’s important to stick together in order to achieve your goals! That’s why we are #TheWolfpack! https://wolfpack.deceuninck-quickstep.com/en/account/login.
