Eurosport has confirmed that despite TV guides showing coverage on the network the race will not be shown!! Bad news for fans of the Spring Classics hoping to watch the opening race from the UK as Eurosport and GCN are no longer set to broadcast Omloop Het Nieuwsblad later this month.
Despite multiple TV guides showing coverage for the first Cobbled Classic of the season beginning at 13:00, the unverified Eurosport Support Twitter account has tweeted in reply to a customer inquiry: ‘I’m sorry to confirm that we will not be showing the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad race. However, will be showing the UAE Tour in the UK.
