We welcome a new co-sponsor for 2022 “BrownField Bike Repairs & Restorations” 75 High Bangor Road BT21 0PP Donaghadee, UK

So glad I have Ray on board, a man who gives so much back to cycling, a top athlete on his own, triathlon, ironman, runner, CX, and road competitor, with many wins in all his disciplines and an expert bike repairer – restorator. His small business near Bangor (Donaghadee) has been supporting local classics like the Tour Of Ards, The North Down GP, and many local individual athletes have been helped by Ray…When he got in touch with me and asked if he could help with some funding, I didn’t have to think twice about accepting his kind offer, as all our sponsors, Ray provides quality service and promotes our beloved sport. Long time and continued support from Ards Cycling Club from Newtownards, County Down

My gratitude and sincere thanks to my home club Ards CC who have supported the BP since the start in 2008…my proudest moment was the day they made me an honorary lifetime member. Each year they allocate some funding towards the project and are definitely part of the success we achieved over the years…A club that is progressive, to say the least…and known for the talent they produced over the 77 years of existing such as Lenny Kirk, his dad Billy, Martin Irvine (World Champ Track) Alastair Martin (Olympian and Common Wealth competitor) to mention a few, and the current racing team who are making their mark provincially and nationally…over 150 members which included 20% female members makes us one of the biggest clubs in the Down area…to see all current news of the club go to www.ardscc.co.uk or https://www.facebook.com/ArdsCyclingClub

Next week we will highlight Victory Chimp, Heaney Motors, and Cycling Ulster in part 3
