Galway Bay Cycling Club is a cycling club based in Galway, on the west coast of Ireland. They have a mix of domestic racers, competitive clubs, leisure, and fitness riders. They are mostly a road club but have a growing off-road element.
Don’t know who they are, but they are certainly bogging!!!

Round 3 of the ‘Bog Trials’ is done and dusted and took place in lovely spring weather despite an atrocious forecast.
The men’s race became quite tactical between the four leaders with Eoin Whelan (7 Springs) getting the better of Keith Griffin (GBCC) in a sprint. Derek Joyce (GBCC) rounded out the podium with Shane Courtney (Tralee Manor West BC) 4th. 5th was Anotine Mobian (GBCC) and 6th was Michael Flynn from Covey Wheelers.
Geraldine Gill Heery (Bohermeen CC) made it three out of three when she won the women’s race as did Katie Turner (Orwell Wheelers) in the under 12 race.
