Message from Ards CC: It is with regret that Committee has taken the decision to cancel this year’s TOA. We have done everything within our power to work around restrictions to allow a rescheduled race to take place on 29th May.
Unfortunately, due to an issue (unrelated to Ards CC) that impacts PSNI’s ability to support the event, we are no longer able to run the race as originally planned or on a revised route with a shorter circuit.
Due to the nature of the race and levels of traffic on the roads used, we do not feel that risk can be managed to acceptable levels without PSNI support. We hope that the issue can be resolved to enable us to run next year’s TOA.
