Cycling Ireland is pleased to announce the 2021 Senior Track Cycling National Championships will be live-streamed from Sundrive Velodrome on YouTube and Facebook. The marquee event takes place on Saturday, August 28th, and Sunday, August 29th with the action getting underway from 9:30 am each morning. The Irish Independent has come on board as media partners, bringing track cycling to a national audience, hosting the live stream on Independent.ie. Independent.ie is Ireland’s leading online news and sports publishing site with over 10 million monthly users. Cycling fans will be familiar with their long-running Tour de France diary which gives readers insights from riders including Nicolas Roche and Dan Martin. Regular Eurosport commentator Declan Quigley will be joined by two-time Track Cycling Olympian Shannon McCurley for live commentary and interviews throughout the weekend. The 2021 Track Cycling National Championship will feature many of Ireland’s top cyclists in a mix of Sprint and Endurance-based events.
