Cycling Ireland has selected a six-rider team for the UCI Para Road World Cup which takes place from 8th– 11th August 2019 in Baie Comeau, Canada.

Chris Burns MC2, TT & RR
Damien Vereker & Paul Forristal MB, TT & RR
Gary O’Reilly MH5, TT & RR
The team will be led by Head Coach Neil Delahaye and Team Manager Tommy McGowan.
This is an important qualifying event for Tokyo 2020 as the Paracycling Team push to secure Paralympic Nation slots.

Wednesday 7th-11th August: European RR & TT Championships in Alkmaar (Netherlands)

Results of yesterday’s Junior Men TT: Kevin Mc Cambridge 17th in a 58-rider field and only 1.30m down on the winner, Archie Ryan was 42nd, 2.21m down on Italian winner Andrea Piccolo who clocked an amazing time of 26:52m for the 22.4 km ( 50km an hour on junior gears) Here some info and schedule of the champs
The event consists of a total of 6 road races and 7-time trials regulated by the Union Européenne de Cyclisme (UEC) across Junior, U23 and Elite levels. Further details are available on:

Parking is available at the rear of the complex, with overflow parking available at the Comp school and alongside the skate park. Please avoid parking on the road and leave the spaces at the front of the complex free for members.
Sign on will take place in the climbing wall room with access to this area available from around the side of the complex as pictured below.
We are delighted to not only provide changing and shower facilities to competitors but on presentation of race numbers at reception post-race you are welcome to avail of free use of the pool, steam room or sauna to aid in your recovery.
