Sean was a big supporter of his daddy Peter and younger sis Aoibhinn, he loved so much the buzz of the racing

Bellurgan Wheelers told social media: “Those of you in the cycling community will remember we lost a very special boy last year, Sean Sharkey. He just loved riding around in puddles, laughing and smiling. Peter, Fiona, and Aoibheann are long-standing dedicated members of our cycling family. We are honored to be hosting a cyclocross race in Sean’s name. Save the date – 30th January 2022. Entry will open next week via event master
All proceeds will go to The Maria Goretti Foundation, the respite center Sean used to spend time in. It was his happy place only a few kilometers from the track. The *go-fund-me* page is now open and accepts donations for this special cente
