His widow Kate told social media: ONE FINAL TRIBUTE TO GAYBO! An open invitation to one and all to attend the unveiling of a Memorial Plaque for Gaybo in Stamullen on Saturday 21st October at 2:30pm. Gaybo touched the lives of so many people through cycling clubs countrywide, his beloved Stamullen Community along with decades of work & friendship with the Farmers in Ireland. If you are free to come to Stamullen and witness this final tribute to Gaybo, it will be lovely to see you and you will be most welcome. Cycling clubs/members attending might consider wearing their club jerseys, weather permitting. Please pass on word to your cycling friends as we would love to see as many clubs as possible represented on the day. Please share, Thanks, Kate Howard.
