Banbridge CC told social media ” In response to the profile of entries for the upcoming Travers Engineering Annaclone GP, the event organisation have taken the decision to revise the format of races hosted on the day.
The feature race, competing for the Eddie Sands Memorial Cup, will accommodate A1 and A2 rider categories. As per previous years a sporting handicap will still be applied. In a change to the previous editions the support race will accommodate A3 and A4 rider categories. A handicap will also be applied in this race which will cover 4 laps of the same course giving a total distance of approx. 32 miles / 51 km. The overall victor will be awarded the Travers Cup, with prizes available for the top 6 riders overall, including the top 3 A4 riders and first unplaced woman”
