More details will follow of the Quiz night when all details are known, but the venue is booked (Ards Bowling Club on the Comber Road N-Ards) and the date is Friday 15th November (7 pm-11 pm) It will be a fundraiser with a general knowledge quiz, a signed jersey’s auction and a tombola with valuable prizes. We are still looking for some signed cycling jersey’s from well know pro’s or ex-pro’s and would love to hear from you if you decide to donate one All proceeds will go to the above-mentioned charity in full. We also will add the funds the Belgian Project already collected over the season for the charity towards the grand total on the night. We also looking for a sponsor for the event, your logo will be on the poster, leaflets and tickets as courtesy (this to make sure that all expenses are met before the fundraising, email dany@belgianproject.cc for info)

Here the jersey handover with Toby Watson from VC Glendale

Marianne Vos’s team jersey with the rainbow bands was raffled at a charity sportive of VC Glendale last winter and I was lucky to draw it, and now try to make a few more pounds with this beautiful garment, this will be auctioned on the night.

Marianne is an Ex multiple world Champion and nr 1 professional female cyclist on road and off road.

A big thank you to Marianne Vos for original donating her jersey to a fundraiser to help out the Irish CX team, and again raffled to raise more money, and ending up with us, and each time some good comes out of it and plenty of money raised.
We just looking for some more kind souls to help us out with donating a signed jersey
. My address is The Belgian Project, 25 Windsor Avenue BT23 4QG Newtownards Co-Down N-Ireland

The Charity has helped already many cycling families with a sick child, such as ex-pro and ras winner Stephen Gallagher son Cody, and top amateur Dave Watson (The Bikehouse Bangor) son Thomas
