There are times in life you can see goodness happening, and when extraordinary efforts get done to raise money for charity you can do nothing else than smile… lots of people complain about cyclists on the road and I would like them to read this…as millions of pounds get raised each year through pedal power…hundreds of charity sportives and thousands of cyclists raising such funds…This time 2 young friends of mine did something that made me very proud. Kevin Mc Cambridge (17 years old) a graduate 2019 of the Belgian Project, and Irish national TT Junior Champ) and Mitchell Mc Laughlin (21 years old) a Belgian Project Composite Team selection of the Ras Donegal 2016 decided to cross the length of Ireland (Mizen Head-Malin Head 602km) in 24 hours in aid of their chosen charity ACTION FOR PULMONARY FIBROSIS. This is something that older riders would do but doing this at such age is special…and guess what…they did it in 21 and a half hours!!!
