The Coastal 100km fundraiser in aid of the Belgian Project promoted by West Down Wheelers is cancelled for tomorrow (Sat 29th February) Roads around the Mournes Coast not safe after massive rainfall!! Clive Adamson from WDW sent us his understandable reason to look for another date!!
On a better note, the VC Glendale Charity Ride for The Cancer Fund For Children is going ahead tomorrow with start at 10 am!!
The King of Irish Cycling is joining the fundraiser! VC Glendale reports:” the hardest man in cycling Sean Kelly will be joining us on the start line with the rest of the field to enjoy the Craic and share some stories over the leisurely 50km, roll out 10 am from the Balmoral Hotel Belfast. As the man once said himself “To know if the weather is too bad for training, put on your gear, go train, and you’ll know when you get back.”
