Just thought to do something different and highlight some of our top athletes and their passions…Today we give Jack a wee plug, Jack Devlin is an international Enduro and MTB talent from Hilltown Co-Down, a very well know lad in that discipline of the sport, rides for the “Vitus First Tracks Race Division” and represented the Irish National MTB & Enduro team at multiple occasions. I chose 2 videos of his work as it portraits him so well, a kind talented dude in many ways…One of his friends describes Jack and his music very well ” Jack Devlin is a 21-year-old acoustic singer-songwriter with dynamic original music and an interactive and lively fan base. He regularly plays both original and cover gigs across Ireland, mostly Belfast and Dublin. His sound is reminiscent of Paolo Nutini, Jeff Buckley, Kings of Leon, Ben Howard, etc. Influences from folk, rock, indie are intertwined with a low-fi twist on many original tracks resulting in a unique musical catalog. With as yet, no officially released music, Jack headlines original gigs and accrues loyal fans, often also supporting high class Irish and international acts. We wish him a great successful future in his beloved sport and his impressive music.
