Square Wheels Youth Development Armagh City

The Mc Crystal Track in Jenkinstown (Near Dundalk Co-Louth) spearheaded by Bryan Mc Crystal (owner &coach) and supported by his club Bellurgan Wheelers!!
Bryan Mc Crystal has this great and challenging CX course build in his family’s farm yard behind his mum’s petrol station & shop, and over the years has become the mecca of cyclo-cross in Ireland. Bryan created some leagues in the winter, coaching to youngsters, mid week races, and so much more at this great venue who has already held a national championship, provincial championship, national CX series rounds and provincial CX series…his knowledge as ex -pro footballer, road racer, and iron man inspires our youngsters, and well loved by all who knows him…in the above photo taken by Damian Faulkner at the hand over we had his sister Eve Mc Crystal (Para cycling tandem pilot multiple word champion on track and road, Cycling Ireland Hall of Fame member, and local Garda ) joining her brother. The Munster Cycling Academy
Last but not least I selected this organisation for producing year after year provincial youth teams to compete here in Ireland but also abroad putting Munster youngsters in the shop window, their youth development system bringing so much joy to the kids, and with so many great clubs in Munster I made the decision to cover them all with selecting this thriving organisation, so they all benefit!! The cheque was handed over to Anthony Kenneally (Cycling Munster Executive) at the National CX Champs in Ballinasloe with some of the kids involved from Munster!!
