Our future cycling stars had their first event of 2023!! The Ulster Cycling Youth Academy “The CUYA Crit & TT series round 1” was held at the Bishopscourt Racing circuit near Downpatrick Co-Down (Sun 19th March) Grass root cycling in a very safe and family environment !! The “Ras Mhaigh Eo 2023” held in Westport Co-Mayo last weekend (Sat 18th-Sun 19th March) was dominated by the Dan Morrissey-Primor by Pissei team. Matthew Devins (U23) won all 3 stages and overall GC, Conor |Hennebry got the points GC, and Sean Hahessy the KOM GC!! The pink jersey went to Caoimhe O’Brien (U/A Leinster) with Niall Mc Loughlin-Covey-Wheelers Westport taking the espoirs white jersey.
